  The 2008 NMC Summer Conference will be held June 11-14 in Princeton, New Jersey The NMC is a consortium of over 260 learning-focused organizations dedicated to the exploration and use of new media and new technologies. The consortium serves as a catalyst for the development of new applications of technology to support learning and creative expression, and sponsors programs and activities designed to stimulate innovation, encourage collaboration, and recognize excellence among its member institutions

  The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus will embark on a three week tour of the great state of Texas, making stops in Denton, Lewisville, Dallas, Ft Worth, Houston, Austin, Lake Travis, Tyler, and College Station. While on tour in Texas, the Lennon Bus will be presenting the North Texas High School Battle of the Bands, creating orginal videos with multiple Texas ISD High Schools, sponsoring Texas A&M's i-Tunes-U Online Battle of the Bands, and capping it ALL off with a dual sponsorship of the Purevolume Ranch AND Texas Music Magazine's party at The 2008 SXSW Music Conference in Austin, TX!!!
